In the summer the walk starts at 7pm and a stop for a treat is made at the Kiwanis ice cream stand at Graham’s Grove when it is opened. During the Fall to Spring we walk at 1:30pm.

Truth and Reconciliation Discussion Group

Choir

Music is a very important part of our life at Grace. Much of the music at worship is provided by the Grace Choir. They help lead the congregational singing and usually sing a selection by themselves at the Sunday Service. Available members also provide music at our worship services at Oakwood Terrace and Parkland at the Lakes and during funerals. The Choir meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00pm for practice and practices before Church on Sundays. Wednesday evening practice does not occur in the summer. If you are interested in joining, please contact our organist and choir director, Joel Tranquilla

Grace United Prayer Group

On the first Tuesday of the month a small group of seven meet together for a pray-day in a comfortable apartment location where the essential church ministry of prayer is shared.

From 1.30pm to 3.00pm, following coffee and conviviality, the group begins with a prayer and

with selected scripture readings leading to conversation and confirmation of the need for prayer as our congregation gathers around the centrality of Christ.  The focus of the group is the prayer list. A private list of those who have requested prayers, (confidential and regularly updated), a list which is prayed over each day by the members of the team, need by need, concern by concern, gratitude by gratitude. If you would like to join this group, talk to June Charlton, who will explain the privacy protocols.

Bowling
