Pastoral Care

After-Worship “Coffee Fellowship”

With the loosening of health restrictions, our after church coffee fellowship has resumed. Members of the congregation provide informal pastoral care to each other as we check in how life has been and offer a listening ear and support.

Pastoral Care Team

We have a pastoral care team that visits members of the congregation who may not be able to participate in life as fully as they use to. The pastoral care teams consist of two persons who agree to visit a few shut-ins a month. The entire team meets occasionally to check in and learn more about pastoral visiting. If you are interested in finding out more about this ministry or would like to be on the roster for a pastoral care team visit contact Rev.  Stephen Fram.

Visitations

In order to be more responsive to your pastoral concerns, our minister sets time aside one day a week to do extra visiting. If you would like to schedule a visit, please contact our church office. Although our Minister visits hospitals weekly, because of privacy policies he may not know that you are in the hospital. If you would like a hospital visit, please let the our church office know.

A member of our congregation sends sympathy cards, get-well cards, birthday cards for the 90 and older members, etc. when they are aware.

Prayer Requests

There is a group at Grace that will pray for people. Your prayer requests can be written out and put into our little church. There is a pad and pen/pencil attached to the back of the church and the requests can go into the slot in the roof. If you are unable to attend church, call or e-mail the Church Office and ask that your prayer request be passed along. These requests will be treated with the upmost confidentiality.
