Concerts at Grace
Concerts at Grace provides a performance opportunity for a wide range of musicians and musical styles from the regional music community in an intimate setting with fine acoustics.
It Takes Two is a recital on Sunday, May 26 at 2:30pm by two visiting artists: Chloé Thiessen, a soprano based in Winnipeg, MB and Thomas Cherney, a baritone based in Kingston, ON. It will be an afternoon of solos and duets from two wonderful emerging artists featuring selections by Bach, Mozart, Lauridsen, Sondheim, and more. They will be accompanied by Joel Tranquilla on the piano. Admission is by donation.
On Friday, May 3, the Dartmouth Choral Society as part of our 70th anniversary celebrations, will be premiering an exciting new song by Frances Farrell. They will also share favourites old and new by Allister MacGillivray, Amy Bernon, Philip Silvey, and more, including bespoke arrangements by their director,Michael Roddy See you on on Friday, May 3rd, 7:30 p.m. at Grace United Church in downtown Dartmouth.
